In the winter out here in South Dakota, it is not unusual to have cold snaps where the temperature drops below zero for a few days.

In the winter out here in South Dakota, it is not unusual to have cold snaps where the temperature drops below zero for a few days.
Sometimes, it will get to -10 or -15 degrees. Brrrrr!
I have an old car with a new battery and sometimes, in that weather, it will not start without a jump.
I called the insurance company a couple of times to come and give me a jump and the last time, the man that came had one of these and he used it to start my car! What a good idea!
I had never seen a portable jump starter/battery before but I did my research and this one was highly rated, so I ordered it.
The instructions say to charge it right away when you receive it, so I did - even though pressing the 'Status' light showed that it was pretty much fully charged right out of the box.
The first week that I had this, down came a cold spell from Canada and my car wouldn't turn over. I went and got this thing, followed the instructions to start up the car and - voila! It started on the first try! Yay! It was a wonderful feeling not to have to bother anyone for a jump.
Of course, I've only had this jump starter for a short while, therefore I'm not sure how long the battery will last or how long it will hold a charge, but
