This review is from: LifeHammer Orange with ResQME Yellow
I think this is a great deal and a great product. I don't know about the other reviewer who said the ResQME has a 50% fail rate. However the hammer is a hammer: it has no moving parts to fail. If you stay calm enough to use it as directed, it will shatter a side window and give you a way out. The blade is very sharp, so I don't see it failing should you need to cut your seat belt off. The important thing is to not leave this loose in your vehicle: if you hit something or flip, it will fly around the cabin and not be at arm's reach when you need it. It must be mounted on the dash or roof within reach of driver and passenger to be useful in a real crisis. You should be able to find it and get it off its holder--even with your eyes closed--in under 10 seconds. Practice and you'll feel more secure.
