Dash Mount Heater, May 3, 2010
I bought this product to put on the dash of my 17 year old S-10 Blazer as a back up heater. My Blazer usually takes about 30-45 minutes to warm up in the winter and I was hoping this would help me have heat while driving to work while waiting on the car heater to kick in. It works beautifully. I used this product this past winter and it really helped during the cold snow storms. The only time it cut off was when I tried to plug it into a device other than the cigarette lighter. Once I plugged it into my cigarette lighter plug, it worked continuously until I manually turned it off. If you're looking for a small heater to supplement your car heater this works great! If you're looking for a primary heater source, I would suggest you look at a more heavy duty heater. I hope this was helpful.
