when it comes to sound proofing don't try and save a dollar. dynamat should be your only choice. other products smell like roofing tar.
you can buy a cheaper product but you ain't gonna like the smell on a hot day. i have 4 bulk boxes of dynamat in my 40 Pontiac. it smells great.
